Dr. Butunath Majhy
Post Doctoral Fellow
From 2022~ Present

Butunath Majhy is a post-doctoral fellow at iSSELab. He has completed his Ph.D. in microfluidics from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India, under the supervision of Prof. Ashis Kumar Sen. At the University of Alberta, he has been working on various projects related to interfacial science like: “Adhesion force at solid-liquid interfaces,” “electrowetting,” and “extensional viscosity of complex fluids,”. His research expertise is on interfacial science and its applications in energy and health, wetting dynamics on superwetting surfaces, water and light on health, and on surface disease detection.
